A hippy is a person who is supported by his parents, refuses to take a bath or cut his hair, thinks there is something enlightening about wiggling his toes in mud, has sex in soggy sleeping bags and on filthy mattresses, and eventually buys a Volvo and becomes worried about personal space and 'at risk" issues.

Freedom

For most people “freedom” means the security to be what they are. From this egocentric understanding of liberty they easily lapse into thinking that freedom requires security (i.e. policing of others) to be as they are.

Again the one : many :: egocentricity : others to be as one’s self.
